Dude, that rocks so hard! I kinda read up on them when they first announced them, and I liked what I saw.

I'm planning on getting a netbook this year, but I'm waiting for an Asus EEE netbook with 9-10 inch touchscreen, dual-core ATOM, and Windows 7. Supposed to come out later this year sometime.

Then I'll consider adding internal GPS and stuff.

I take it you're bringing it to MGC 09?

Optical trackpoint? Odd. Trackpoints should be in the middle of the keyboard IMO, that way you barely have to move your hands from the home row of keys. Otherwise, pretty neat.

this one has the poor thermal paste application job so it tends to get really hot under continued heavy load but i will be able to fix that easy enough (careful dissassembly, cleaning and artic silver!)the more recent production run models (this one is a pretty early one) dont have that problem
