I paid just under £600 for my system. Runs nearly every game flawlessly bar Crysis, PC games feel and look superior to their console counterparts, which on todays console still suffer from frame-rate drops and image tearing, offer less superior control options (Xbox 360 controller for windows, works out of the box for todays games), usually cost less, offer free online (even GFWL games now), offer more extended support and diversity than their console counterparts with mods and patches.

Backwards compatablity is never a big issue since it's just Windows, I use Vista and I can play 95% of games I own easy.

He already does that in all his podcasts. I'd say he's all ranted out.

Screw that, I hate my insert key. I meant WTF< has anybody EVER USED IT? EVER?!?!11

All it did was make me afraid that while touch typing, I would accidentally hit it and erase my hard work.

Pulling right off the keyboard fixed that!

I use the insert key...

In fact, when I was filling out an application, it came in very handy when tying over the lines you were supposed to write on.

That's the only time I can remember that it helped. It's like a tailbone, or your pinky toes. Remnants of something that were useful once but we've out-evolved them. I'm sure it was useful before mice, or before the drag and delete option was available.

I mean, it's important enough to get a place on even laptop keyboards.

Here's mine (my girlfriend says I look cute when I'm complaining about this, by the way  )

Toilet bowls are made of two things: round, and porcelain. Now, let's start with porcelain. This is the most echoey stuff you can ever imagine. And when you're s(h)itting (sorry, word filter, but the 'h' really is optional :P ) on the toilet, you don't want noises to echo. At all. Not only that, but they make toilet bowls round! Why in the world would they make toilet bowls round, which only concentrates the noises made? :(

Oh, and as if that weren't enough, some interior designers were stupid enough to decide that, hey, why not put that echoey porcelain all over the damn bathroom? Just to make sure it echoes enough that anyone in an adjoining room can hear you, of course! Well, you know what, you damn "designers?" I hope one day, you meet the man (or woman) of your dreams. And soon after, just when you are ready to go on your first hot date, I hope you have to take the biggest crap of your life. And when you do, I hope this prospective significant other hears it as a result of your porcelain stupidity and runs away, scared just as sh*tless as you are.

What is scarier: That, or the fact that:

Square toilets will get crap in the corners

Toilets made out of wood will be stained with crap

The bathroom will smell and look bad without porcelain walls.

So, either YOU look bad, or your bathroom looks like crap.

I agree round is the best shape for both funneling during flushing and cleaning. As far as soundproof a toilet bowl goes, good luck finding a suitable material.

I say use foam padding. Or some type of insulation.

That would work very well. Except for when you have to breathe.

Use an oxygen mask, like airlines.

As seems to happen often these days, this thread is going offtopic. I will make a thread on soundproofing toilets/bathrooms.

Just vacuum your ass. It'd hardly be comfortable though.

And what I meant is: Good luck finding a smooth, easy to clean, waterproof, soundproof material.
