Philips AJL308 LCD alarm clock with speaker, tuner, SD slot and USB slot, decoded DIVX, etc?

I highly doubt it.

Unless there are composite inputs inside.

The screens that are most commonly used are ones that already accept analog input.

If that tuner is a TV tuner, it might be useable as a screen, but if it's just for radio, (most likely) than it can't be of much use.

Digital picture frames often have really low resolutions and refresh rates. That means no moving images without blurs or washed colours.

As far as resolution goes, check it out. I think we're talking something like 640 x 320 max resolution. Many I see, sadly, are less.

I would avoid it.

yeah... I'd love to just sneek into a radio shack or the source. just smash open every LCd housing and raid one big pile of unsorted screens. leave quick enough to confound mall police and do the dirty work at home. that would be able to settle this argument. point the thread in the right direction. short of that if its one those card reading ones there is a chance that it MIGHT do the job. the same time... has any one even taken one of these apart, a lame picture frame thing. some have composite deals and every thing. this like pocket lcd thing I found last year worked so poorly as a convenient substitute for film in a slide projector. even the screen bit was a dim mess. I just ate 6 pop tarts, am I going to die from all the metal in these things one day. just check on whats in these things. I eat copulate pop tarts every time I get high. yeah you dont know what the insides are like, dont buy it.

I have seen this in person, and the screen looks really lousy (low contrast, a very washed out screen), I wouldn't recommend buying it.
