Where's.... megabite?

Post by Aguiluz » Sun Jan 04, 2009 8:08 pm

Seeing that his thread is locked and my PM sent to megabite hasn't even been read, where is he? Or it?

I don't think it was programmed to read PMs. Or, maybe palmertech doesn't have it active. It is hosted on its computer, after all.

Yes, it was locked for a few reasons, some too complicated to go into.

He does not respond to PMs, and I have not had him active since the tread was closed, sorry. :(

Here is a news update: I finally managed to talk to Cennar, and he gave me the go ahead on making a bot based on his posts. Basically, I want to feed all his posts into megabite, and see if it can figure out a pattern/style to post in (I may have to cheat and help it a bit, as his spelling was often so bad, I do not think the bot would recognize a lot of words. ;) ) If this works, it should be fun.

If you want to discuss the bot, do it here, I will have that thread re-opened when I have some time to work on megabite. :D

I managed to nab him in google chat, and apparently, he is still active in some other places online (He asked me not to tell. Not that clear cut, though, it was part of a long ramble about how his apartment lacks furniture and windows, and his life is a waste of good dope. )

He still checks his email occasionally, I have actually talked to him a few times before about the Power GameBoy (As that mod was inspired by his GBOMG).

And vskid, it will be interesting; My reasoning is that it will be much easier to make a bot sound like Cennar than, say, Marshalh.

Check his leaving thread. He got off weed and the internet and went to travel the world and get a life or some crap.

What a load.

Could be good. I sadly wasn't here when Megabit was activated, so I missed out on the fun. Do you think you could change its name though? Something a bit more Cennar-ish? And a cool sig and avy would be cool too. :P (Just to add to the casualness of it.)

I vote we name him iRannec. It reflects the fact he is a bot with the "i" part,

It contains cennar spelled backwards, and it sounds sorta like Ironic, which is funny considering he was made to post in the style of a user no one could understand.

Nah, megabite sounds better.

I thought we are supposed to have two bots? A "good one" and a "retarded" one. :?

I'm assuming making a bot isn't easy.....so the bots are being done one a a time perhaps?

Cennar will probably be the retarded one.

The smart one will be a lot harder to pull off.
