Unfortunatly, no...makes me sad too...I really wanted to get one It's all because I was distracted by all the coolness of the Benheck.com experience corner

I really want to find you guys on facebook, etc. It was the most fun I've had in a fricken long time. Hopefully I can have my portable finished by next year (which I WILL be going)

I present my pictures from the Midwest Gaming Classic 2009! I included a link to each picture in higher resolution, but if you should want one or more in full 10 megapixel resolution (for 8 x 10s or something, I suppose), just shoot me an IM.

Ben and I, right before we left. The photo caught me offguard - hence, the odd expression. Thanks a lot, Nick!

Don't worry, you'll get to know me a little more before next year. You'll be practically kissing my feet

I am nothing but a curious onlooker???
Well, I suppose you can't tell as well as I that the onlooker is in fact me.

Well, sorry - the only one I can recognize from the back of his head is Skyler!Turknatr12 wrote:I am nothing but a curious onlooker???

8th picture of kyle's: finally a picture in which i don't look angry lol. they were playing my new marvel vs. capcom in japanese. megaman was lovingly referred to as "rock man" in the game. it's funny that nick is pretty much snoring at this point. he could probably sleep through an earthquake lol
[ btw, just beat space channel 5 a few minutes ago. i was pleasantly surprised at how fun it was. but kind of down-trodden that it was so short. ]

Rock Band. Metallica Man was a performer and paid the price later on. "I feel like i'm having a heart attack"
G-force's brother Tim, John, and Kyle
Nick (Sparkfist). He refused to smile. What a lamer (kidding)
John's trademark slouch, more or less
Brian and his wife Gloria. She had to have a lot of patience for hanging around all day while Brian was at the booth.
Briand (Sponge) fielding questions
Ben working on the controller monitor
One of Brian's super nintendos
Gabe (G-force)
Debug/proto xboxes
PS2 TOOL (massive)
"well EXCUSE ME, princess!" "I wonder what's for dinner" You know the game I'm talking about
lifeisbetterwithketchup
kyle (eagle)
Some random guy that stole our table
Jay's clean N64 portable. It impressed many people, probably the best bondo work I have ever seen. Nice job!
Ben setting up the laptop
Technical difficulties
Podcast guys that were annoying as hell, talked about nothing in particular and laughed predictably every 30 seconds
A wild Skyler has appeared!
Parker (rekarp) surveying a NOAC purchase
dunno
Toilet construction

No, RAMUNE. You must do this. Actually, if you know where to look it's cheap. Try the little Asian grocery stores you see in bigger towns. I live near one in Minneapolis and they sell them quite cheaply. I don't remember what user bought one from me, but at $2 I actually made a profit!samus wrote:maybe i'll stock up and buy pocky in bulk and sell that. hah.
EDIT: g-force's brother John, that's who!
Emulation isn't accurate. There is no substitute for real hardware!
