Looks like it won't be too cold from Friday to Sunday. I assume there's no melting snow over there right now, right?

You'd be surprised, I think it'd be comparable to last year. Those mountains of snow in the parking lot take forever to melt: the snow does a really good job of insulating itself, so it takes a while. Then again, I'm further north in Wisconsin, not sure how Milwaukee is. There's also been quite a bit of rain down there, which can really be murder on the snow (by then we welcome it )Skyone wrote:Looks like it won't be too cold from Friday to Sunday. If it's anything like it is here, there will still be snow mounds (which are not as good as Almond Joy!) It's still cold enough to see your breath, but who knows - maybe we'll get a warm weekend (warm being > 40 degrees)

40 degrees would rock socks, lol. If it hit 40, I'd wear shorts

I was fine last year with a light sweatshirt (rolled up sleeves!) really. I hope I'm wrong about the weather though!

Yeah, but that was with 40 degree temperatures. Try it with -20 in December/JaunarySkyone wrote:I was fine last year with a light sweatshirt (rolled up sleeves!) really. I hope I'm wrong about the weather though!
@Metallica Man X: Ryan (project_failure) did that last year, and he's from CA!

The restaurant there is pretty good too, on the other side of the bar. Hopefully I can remember what I had there last year cause it was the best one of those I'd had in a while
this would be a better endorsement if I could remember what I ate lol

Soldering compo sounds fun, but would we use our own gear/solder? AND, I am planning on bringing my Neo Geo CMVS and some of my games almost for certain now. I will be arriving Saturday evening, so I won't be at the show until Sunday. I will be in the hotel on Saturday though, just not at the show since I would only get 1 or 2 hours before they shut down, so no point in buying the tickets.
