BTW - whenever I have used DK as a screenname in a game, people say it stands for Donkey Kong. But... despite liking that DK - it, obviously, was not. Nor was it for the Dead Kennedies.
How did you think of your BH username?

But... to be accurate, I came up with that username in the year 1991. Were you even alive then?

I destroyed a dead SNES once to see what is inside - with a hammer - does that count as console hacking?

My username...I've been using this same user name for every single message board I've ever been on- dating back to an old site called Deck-Zone.
Ah well, I got my user name from a random picture I drew that featured the characters from Mega man X dressed up like Metallica (instruments and all!)
Too bad I drew that picture a good 5 or 6 years ago...it's been lost for a long time, lol.

You're saying this to someone whose name is based off of an SNES game released in '95?blackbox_dev wrote:Stop living in the past.
I thought your original screen name was clever, but I suppose I don't have much ground to stand on about name changes.

The truth is, while my original name may have had a bit of nostalgic value, it didn't really have any actual meaning to me.

Hey, get the Blackbox out and then we can talk about names having value! Kidding, kidding.
Haha, oh so very true. I'm such a retro whore it's not even funny. Though I must say, there's a difference between changing your name because of personal preference and the death of a pet. I know when/if my dog died, I'd be devastated.Life of Brian wrote:You're saying this to someone whose name is based off of an SNES game released in '95?blackbox_dev wrote:Stop living in the past.

well, let's see. I sometimes find myself crazy, so I used the word "mad" then since I like to hack eletronics, I used hacker. Recently I noticed my username sounds like "The Mad Hatter" from alice in wonderland. Aslo, on Gamefaqs, my username is Bob6567, even though my name is Bill. I just thought that Bob sounded cool.
