Japanese Candy!

Post by HotDog-Cart » Mon Jun 30, 2008 10:13 am

Hey guys. I'm lucky. Very lucky. I happened to work Head Security at a Convention and got a whole bunch of free candy. (I got first dibs on left over candy.

Heres a picture of MOST of it.

I also got a whole crate/box of pocky and ramune. It is not pictured though, as its still in the car. (So noone eats it.)

I like Mochi Rice Cakes and 10% Japanese 3x Blended Canned Coffee. Yum.

What are your guys favorite japanese candy and drink?

Also, have you guys gotten lots of candy at conventions before?

And last but not least what are your favorite japanese versions of our candy?
(Mine has got to be Kitkat Vanilla Bean or Pepsi Ice Cucumber)

Edit: Also, whats your LEAST favorite japanese candy and drink?
Mine has got to be some type of Vanilla Skittles they had. Fricken nasty.

I think I heard that in Japan, there are Chocolate covered Cheetos...

I don't want to even imagine what those taste like.

I've never had Jap. Candy before...or gone to a convention.

Although I like Pocky, I try not to be a weeaboo.

Also, Ramune is not nearly as awesome as you think it is.

I don't want to make an "I'm leaving" thread, but I've sort of lost interest in this board. So if you notice that I'm gone, that's why.

Yeah I'm a fan of Pochy too. Addictive little thing.

I was thinking of looking where I can get those others... name escapes me, but they're called salad sticks I think.

Well I love ramune... I didn't even know about it until somebody at my work brought some! But I would say the guarana and jones soda are both better than ramune.
