Maybe you should stop complaining about the five seconds of clicks you go through to steal games and think about the hundreds and thousands of hours the programmers went through to make them.

Sorry, but posts like this make me angry.

Xlent: Wow! What a novel idea! :)

Undisclosed: I'll tell you right now that 90%+ of the time, programming games is NOT fun. That is why people get paid large sums of money to do it. You make the game and then spend hours and hours optimizing, squeezing every little bit of performance from an underpowered video game console. That is why you should BUY THE GAMES!

You do of course realise that by telling you where you could find such illegal copies of game ROM data we could be in violation of US law... or a lot of other coutnries laws for that matter?

You have no right to be angry because you can't break copyright law easily.

Do 2600 roms count? Because Atari went under as a real company, and many games were prototypes, anyways.

Oohhh yeah.. Tons. Though a few companies have asked for their roms to be removed, *cough*activision!*cough* and they had to be taken down. :(

That's cuz they're still repackaging them to be sold... milking everything they can from them. Though technically they're all still illegal. Some developers just feel that they've gotten compensated for their work and want to give it away (and good for them, they're some of the best people in gaming).

I personally believe that since this deals with ROMs and such, that it has no place here. Other than that, its also a WASTE OF BANDWIDTH.Dont post a new topic every time something new or something that upsets you happens. A lot of this has been happening lately, and I just dont care for it (and I want Bens site to stay up as long as possible with minimal cost to him since it is out of his pocket).
When in Japan with access to just about every system ever made and those that have yet to see international soil, gather your forces, and make the cool ones your own.
