I accept your bet.teraflop122 wrote:I'm definitely feeling a strong sexual attraction to that motherboard.
EDIT: Mark my words, this device will be incredibly expensive. I bet all of you one million monopoly dollars that this will sell for over 400 USD.
Doesn't anyone read the main page anymore?www.openpandora.org wrote:How much will it cost?
Around £199 (inc VAT), $330, Euro212 (Ex.VAT).
Doesn't anyone know that estimates are always underestimates? If all estimates came true, wouldn't we have $200 EEEs and $100 laptops for children?Adam G wrote:Doesn't anyone read the main page anymore?www.openpandora.org wrote:How much will it cost?

Do you remember a large, powerful, well-known-and-respected company offering an incredible product for 200 dollars? Oh, how that price lasted and lasted and lasted till almost the release date!
Then the Asus EeePC went on sale for 300 and 400. Asus, a major company, let the price jump by 33%.
Lets just wait and see
EDIT: Damnit, Vskid, you beat me to the Eee thing!

So, wait. Exactly how isn't this thing an Eee with a DualShock built in? The only differences I see are the second SD slot and the system architecture (ARM instead of x86).
Speaking of which, I really, REALLY hope the Eee 900 is reasonably priced, up to $500. I really do want to like the unit because ultraportables are awesome, but the 800x480 screen is a real turn-off. Hopefully it could have some kind of performance boost as well...

Has anyone noticed that suddenly the GP2X isn't the shining beacon of perfection anymore? Things like "AA's mean you can pick your own batteries, instead of having to find an outlet" have changed to "no more of that silly battery stuff."
Anyway, I think someone is going to owe me a million monopoly dollars
