I've wondered. What would happen if I put a glazed donut in the toaster? Would it make it taste better? Or would it break my toaster?
Haha. Thanks.

You'd probably wind up with a smoky mess from the liquefied sugar glaze getting all over inside the toaster.
Just warp it in a paper towel and nuke it for a couple seconds.

That's all crap. Whenever I tried to do that I'd get my donut and the thing would still be as cold as my refrigerator. Yeah it works if I put it in the microwave for 15 seconds but who the hell has time for that?vskid wrote:Yep, Krispy Kreme donut boxes say that putting a donut in the microwave for 8 seconds warms it so its like it was just made. Comes out just like fresh baked.

You put yours in the fridge? Theres so much sugary and preservative goodness in them that you don't need to keep them cool. Then again, ours only last a couple days until they're all gone anyways. It works perfect from room temperature.dudex77 wrote:That's all crap. Whenever I tried to do that I'd get my donut and the thing would still be as cold as my refrigerator. I'm using this thread as an excuse to tell my funny donut story.
Alright, so my cousins' family bought a box of Krispy Kreme donuts in celebration of the store opening in their town. They ate probably about half of them, then put them away. Fast forward to the next morning. My cousin (she was 13-14ish at the time) got up and started to make corn muffins. She preheated the oven, and started mixing the stuff together. After a few minutes, smoke was coming out of the oven, and it smelled really really bad. So, being who she is, she didn't open the oven or anything; she went and got my uncle, who whipped open the oven, and took out the blackened box of burned donuts. Apparently they store stuff in their oven.
Apparently, one bite was taken of the burned donuts, and it tasted absolutely terrible. So, when reheating your donuts, don't go overboard!
