Post by Triton » Thu Jan 17, 2008 6:18 pm

Ah yes its almost that time again people! MGC08 is coming up SOON, March 29th and 30th to be exact, at the wonderful Olympia resort in Oconomowoc Wisconsin! this thread will be for listing who all will be in attendance and planing stuff! right now we are considering having a benheck forum VENDORS BOOTH for those interested in selling portables parts tools and any other videogame/classic computing items or just showing off your finished portables please IM or PM me about it or post here,

Please post if you are definitely attending, or plan on it, and I will add it to the first post here.

PEOPLE ATTENDING:
Triton
Skyone
Samus
CronoTriggerfan
SpongeBuell
gannon
G-force
wallydawg
marshallh
benheck
Sparkfist

PEOPLE PLANNING ON ATTENDING:
----

VENDORS:
Cost of the booth will be split evenly by the vendors booth cost is 65$ for an 8x8 booth with one 8x2.5' table or 2 8x1.5' tables, 100$ for an 8x16 and so forth, if i can get 4-6 people with stuff to sell that would be great, i have quite a bit and im sure plenty of you have stuff as well!

LODGING:
For those that are staying overnight in Milwaukee, SpongeBuell is getting some rooms at the Ramada Limited in Waukesha. See this post for details. Most of those in the list above will be staying in this suite, and the price is pretty reasonable for 2 nights.
Hope you don't mind me adding this on your post, Triton -SpongeBuell

Well I'll try my best! Probably not, but I will try to get there. In a week I'm done with high school (the second time around!) and I'll be looking for work. Working, I can probably afford a junk car (Most of the money will go to University), assuming I can get my license this time around. (nobody wants to help me practice except friends but they can't because they're not insured! Driving, and especially parking, a van is quite hard.)

So as long as insurance on a third car isn't through the roof (and as long as my parent's will pay it!), I'll come if I can find some people to come and some parents to blackmail! :P Road Trip!

Don't count on it, it's time for another major shift in my life, yet again, so I don't know what will happen. Don't count on my attendance.

But I will try.

Geez, I really want to come. Put me down for "Hopes He Can Attend."
I'll see if my Dad wants to go to Wisconsin. He took me and my brother to the Detroit Auto Show one year, so I dunno...

I don't want to make an "I'm leaving" thread, but I've sort of lost interest in this board. So if you notice that I'm gone, that's why.

Unless it's ever in Dayton Ohio, or anywhere In Ohio, I don't think I will ever go to this, even though I want to go a lot.

Unless the stars align in the shape of a VCSp Rev 5.1 and by a miracle of God. I'm not going

But, MGC09 I will try with all my might to be there. I'll be 18 then.

As for Vendor thing, I might be intersted in maybe sending a thing or two to sell there. Don't list me though. I'm intersted not "For sure going to".

Who knows if the Namco Portable will ever become a reality? :P

I would go but it would be a pain to drive all that way. If I get a couple portables out of the way I might consider selling them there.

I'll be there!

BTW if you guys are planning to share a room again, get one right at the Olympia Resort. They are running a special there of $92 a night.

On second thought, this might be quite costly. I'm sure a bunch of you know how much a good $200-$500 is worth for a guy in University. Still, I'll see how things play out. (Personally, I think I'd rather put in a carputer in the car I don't have yet then go to this thing in the car I don't have yet! :P )

Count me out for now.

I'd go, but I live in England. It's rather far away.

Please Gabe?

I am going if it means canceling school for several days. I'll probably be stopping by Iowa to pick up John/triton on the way - I'll hopefully have my car looking good by then. I also plan on bringing a new, secret portable to the event.

Maybe the booth can sell benheck t-shirts?

edit: Gabe you had better get your ass up there too. I'm looking forward to meeting you all (already met Brian/Spongey, neat guy :))
