Firefox, I'm spoiled by tabbed browsing and add-ons. (Gotta have the user style one and AdBlock Plus; they're a potent combo. I haven't seen a banner ad in months.) Whenever I have to use IE it feels really primitive (if it's IE 6) or clunky (IE 7).

So, Firefox then? (That's all the last few builds of Netscape have been, ya know...)
Swiftfox
So, a fork of Firefox which really shouldn't be in existence? (The author isn't complying to the license the Firefox source code is under, and thus doesn't have the right to distribute his program.) Is it any faster than the mainstream Firefox build?

Yea, pretty much, lol. Except it seems... faster. I dunno. Maybe someone could do a side-by-side comparison of Firefox and Netscape? I think it's mostly Firefox, but it has some weird engine. Or something. Or so I've heard. Or so I think I've heard.

He's in compliance with the GPL.

Marginally, it manages memory a lot better, which Firefox is very poor at.

I use Firefox, but I've tried Opera a bit.

On my laptop (300MHz PII, 160MB ram), FF is a little laggy. Youtube videos are best just listened to by switching to another tab so it doesn't have to render the video, even then it can be kinda choppy. Browsing the forums is ok, lags a bit when switching tabs (I usually have >5 open). Opera on the other hand will play youtube videos with minimum lag, even showing the video (video is kinda choppy).

Opera is a nice browser if you just want a fast, reliable way to surf the web. FF is best if you want an almost as fast, reliable, and customizable way to surf the web. Pretty much, if your machine can handle FF, use it. If not, Opera is a worthy alternative.
