Wow, I like absolutely nothing mentioned in the first two posts with the exception of Lemon Demon. I'm more of a classic rock guy.

Three...maybe four rap songs...

wouldn't it have been easier to just tell us the bands you like?

I like Rock, Techno, Electronica, Metal, and almost everything else.

No country or rap for me though.

Nothing can compare to the amazing musical stylings of my 3000th-or-so-ranked Rock Band rock band "Power Supply!" (Look for us floating around the leaderboards)

Still waiting for Neil Diamond Hero of course...

I mainly like rock, The White Stripes and Queens of the Stone Age are two of the best bands currently playing. I dislike all rap except maybe Wu-Tang Clan (soft spot for kung-fu samples).

Here, from my Facebook profile:

Code: Select all

The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Billy Joel, QOTSA, Broken Social Scene, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Dandy Warhols, David Bowie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Tally Hall , Tenacious D, Wolf Mother, Bob Dylan, White Stripes, Wolf Parade, Electrelane, The Decemberists, Joy Division, Radiohead, Weezer, Neutral Milk Hotel, Wu-Tang Clan, The Polyphonic Spree, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones, The Black Angels, Death in Vegas, Dave Matthews Band

I used to be in a band and now over the years I am finding that I get less and less enjoyment out of music. I don't know why that is. I end up listing what I don't like as opposed to like

I don't like

country music
most rap
anything religious
pop

Well I listen to mainly heavy metal but a few lighter punker bands slip in here and there.

Here is the list I have of the bands I listen to the most since the last time I made a list.

Avenged sevenfold, Billy Talent, Children Of Bodom, Cradle of Filth, Crematory, Darkseed, Dark tranquillity, Deathstars, Dimmu Borgir, Dope, Dragonforce, Ektonorf, Goldfinger, Kalmah, Killswitch Engage, KMFDM, Kreator, Lamb Of God, Mindless Self Indulgence, Norma Jean, Norther, Pezz, Pig Destroyer, Rammstien, Slayer, Static X, System Of A Down, Tenacious D, The Kovenant, The Throwdown, Vader

Here is a little play list I threw together for myspace.
