I think it was Dark_Alex who released pandor'as battery early, right?

Spam him with angry letters, for behold!!!

New confirmations that Pandora's Battery on PSP Slim doesn't work, only power LED shows

There are now multiple reports that Pandora's battery does not work on the new PSP Slim & Lite and there is absolutely no response from the MSD. It seems as if Sony has well and truly blocked it in their new firmware v3.6 which will ship on every new PSP Slim & Lite. Its a real shame it got leaked when it did maybe the Pandora team could have done something about it.
Hey, sup?

Well, as far as I understand it was leaked and being sold for high prices before it got released, so they pretty much had to release it, right?

This is old news and DAX and some other dude recently (yesterday) had decrypted the PSP Slim's Firmware.

Not Hackable? I think not!

So your Damning the best PSP Hacker to Hell? Without DAX, you wouldn't have the Custom Firmwares or Downgraders that we all have today. Without him, none of this would have been possible.

As far as I'm concerned, he can do whatever the hell he wants.

I'm not much into the psp scene so to be honest I can't tell the difference between the old and "new" psp design. Is it just smaller or what?

Its a little big smaller, lighter, and has the added bonus of TV-out.
The UMD drive has been modified, but..yeah..wow..
The PSP Slim, in my opinion, is a bit lacking.

Actually, your missing a few details...

The PSP Slim is Smaller, Lighter, Brighter Screen, Louder Speakers, Newly Designed UMD Drive, TV-Out (Composite is for Music/Videos only, Component is for Games/Videos/Music), Double the Ram (Slim has 64MB), and Double the NAND Flash for the Firmware (Slim has 64 MB)

I stand by my original opinion.
Slightly faster load times and a brighter screen, simply mahvelous, if only Sony would stop redesigning everything they make, and focus on putting out some good, exclusive games (the game I've played the most for PSP is Battlefront II, and still, the PSP version isn't all that great)

The only reason I bought a PSP was for Homebrew and Emulators. If you want Exclusives, get a DS.

All I'm going to say about the PSP Slim is two words. Double Nubs.

That in my opinion is what its truly lacking.

I never saw the nub on the other psp. I'm sure I've noticed it but I didn't realize that what it was

assuming nub you mean the analog nub if one even exists haha I'm sure you can tell how much I've been paying attention to the PSP Scene

Yes... I was obviously referring to the analog nub.

well I hate to see the new PSP's are not going to have a public Dark_Alex firmware, simply put, I agree with Harsh, he has simply been the best homebrew person to date, he had raw talent, and SONY kinda squished it, those who are trying to fill his shoes are not going to do so easily
