My computer is a huge step up from what I had when I first started posting here. That thing had a Pentium 2, an 8.44 Gig HD, 256 megs of ram, and a case I bought in 1998. It failed twice causing me to reformat it, once while I was in the middle of a major assignment that I needed the internet for. My parents felt sorry for me and got me this thing for my 13th birthday.

Hell, if I could find a nice poster of Bill Gates w/ an Altair 8800 or something, I'd buy it!

Indeed. But M$ also does business, w/ a censored search engine & stuff in China, so that makes them bad I guess.

Mine crashed this morning. Apparently, video card issues. It had:
AsRock 775-dual VSTA mobo (I will never buy from asrock again. 3rd of theirs, and I still hate them)
P4 @3.2ghz (Hyper Threading, EM64T, et cetera)
100GB SATA drive (boot disk with XP)
500GB PATA drive (4 partitions) (1 broke installing Vista, tried again and now it thinks there's 2 vista installs but neither work)
Nvidia 7900 GT (deceased)
1GB ram
21" 2048x1536 native res. LCD monitor (on the path to death, doesn't display in native res. properly, might be gfx card)
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer edition (5.1 surround speakers attached)
Before crashing, the monitor stand broke. I fixed that and tried to boot. After booting (sorta, the screen was primarily blue), I found out that my XP install is also broken. When one thing fails, it all does.

Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.
