Handhelds or consoles?

Hmm, for one of my friends with really crummy vision, it's the exact opposite. He has to sit about 3 feet in front of the TV to see what's going on, and he hates portables because of the small screens.wallydawg wrote:Portables due to bad eyesight and easier to see what is happening on the portable.
Now for me, portables are best. Just the fact that I can sit there in my bed playing my DS into the wee hours of the morning is enough for me. I love consoles as well, but I've always liked portables better. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my first game system ever was a GameBoy Color.

While I own more consoles then portables, I have to side with portables. I like the idea of playing a game when ever I get bored or waiting for something. If I had a GBA SP I'd likely have that in place of my iPod Nano and just start playing a game when I get bored rather then listen to music.
And the only console that can not be made portable... at the moment, is the PS3, because it's HUGE!
