ScreenCapturing Programs?

Post by HotDog-Cart » Sun Apr 08, 2007 5:04 pm

Hey, I need a free screencapturing program thats easy to use, and can record for like as long as I want.

Fraps is out of the question, as it only records for 30 seconds.

Thanks

You see, I am broke. I just bought a $190 PSP, and then a $30 game.
And, I need to get this done tonight. (I'm making a Gmod movie).

No, I have not tried CamStudio. Mind giving me the details?

I agree, CamStudio is the best free screen recorder I've used. They even include a lossless video codec, which works pretty well.

Just downloaded, looks easy. Thanks guys.

EDIT: It doesnt seem to like games that much, as I just recorded some footage, and it game out very pixelated, and laggy. Not to mention the color is a little bit off. Any tips?

The only codecs I have are:

Microsoft Video 1
Cinepak Codec By Radius
Intel Indeo Video 4.5
Intel IYUV Codec

I used Microsoft Video 1.

Hmmm, Fraps records at a much higher FPS, is unlimited when bought, and has many more capabilities than ZD soft recorder. I see in not one way that this is better than fraps.
I lika Pacman.
