Yeah, just like how he previously confirmed it 100% that he wouldnt release the original non-special-edition trilogy on DVD.Kurt_ wrote:Actually, many MANY years ago, around the release of episode 1, lucas said he had planned episodes 7-9, but wasn't going to turn them into movies. I figure that he will first get greedy (by this I mean when his toilet paper is demoted to fifty dollar bills instead of hundreds)
and re-release the original trilogy with more Cg animation (since it really has improved since the 90s and could do a lot more...)
Then he will go through the Shadow's of the Empire books
Actually Lucas has a ton of Star Wars books for material, and a good few don't suck royally
He could also redo the war of the Sith (think a Star Wars KotoR thing) There is a lot of material there...The beauty of Star WArs is the sheer magnitude of it, and by Beauty I of course mean exploitable areas to make oodles of Cash

Haha yeah exactly. The special editions on VHS are better though, not quality wise ofc, but i've seen both editions of Episode II and I think Special Edition is better, I wouldn't rush out and buy the DVD boxset of all 6 episodes though.lifeisbetterwithketchup wrote:Yeah, just like how he previously confirmed it 100% that he wouldnt release the original non-special-edition trilogy on DVD.Kurt_ wrote:Actually, many MANY years ago, around the release of episode 1, lucas said he had planned episodes 7-9, but wasn't going to turn them into movies.
