i loved mgs PO, playing the powerstone collection, and street fighter alpha 3 on it along with the psone emulation and other great emulators
i think the psp is a great machine but i sold mine to afford my 360 (which is also a great machine ) i'm probably going to buy a cheap psp in a year or two when they get less expensive
My DS collected dust for about a month when I first got the PSP. Now I'm back to the DS and junked on Metroid Fusion, FFVI and Castlevania DoS and PoR. The PSP is sitting quietly in it's case. I go through phases.
The PSP has some great titles (Gitaroo Man and GTA, plus the PS1 emulation) but I just have more fun with the DS. If I had to get rid of one, it'd be the PSP.

I have a ds and personally I dont really like it the touch screen annoys me most games are made for younger kids and it doesnt play any media other then games I had a psp for awhile till i lost it lol and i like it much better cause it plays movies music and pretty much everything else it especially worth it to get a psp if you know how to put emulators on it cause then u can play ds,n64,gba,genny,nes,snes,ps1 and psp games on it plus you have an internet browser. But bassically I think the psp is for an older age group and the ds was made more for a younger age group

I own neither the DS nor the PSP. I've personally been waiting for prices to drop and for both systems to build up their game library before I made a decision. I remember when the PSP was first announced I was just blown away, but as more time goes by it just seems more and more like a massive money pit. I was at Target yesterday and noticed that they had a special sale on DS games and they were all $24 each. I stood there looking at all the games I wanted to play really really bad, and then turned around and looked at the pitiful selection of PSP games. I think my mind is made up now.

i love my gp2x but i havent been using it much lately aside from the occasional Ebook or bout of beat2x. ive played a friends psp and the screen is pretty bright and stuff but it IS pretty blurry, the gp2x doesnt have ANY blur that i can notice but unfortunatly it completly washes out in bright sunlight! this is the ONLY thing that i would really change on it (aside from extras like wifi etc) aside from stuff like that the psp is slightly more powerful (it has a slightly higher clock speed and 3d acceleration) and that is the only real advantage. beyond that its all up to the hackers and coders!

I love my DS Lite, wouldn't go anywhere without it, and finally got the wife her own. Full pink matching set of all of the accessories, she is now hooked too. Don't count the games out cuz they look kiddy, there are a lot of fun ones that'll have you hooked for a very long time. Travel or now travel, a DS has a way of sneaking into the gaps in busyness. It is like a home away from home.

Video game consoles are like computers. The PSP is like a laptop, and the DS is like a PocketPC. The PSP has most of the functionality of a full size console, while the DS is just more basic, and easy to use, and less expensive. You can't compare the DS with the PSP. That's like comparing a laptop and a PocketPC.
