Yard Sale Season has begun!
Has anyone found a good deal?
I found a PS2, no cables, no controllers, no games for $15. I found 7 shotgun shells in the expansion bay. lol.
your thoughts?

I picked up a Jornada 420 (Pre-Windows Mobile) PDA for $20 at big flea market the other day. No battery, I'm trying to find a regulator that will give me 3.6-3.9VDC from 6VDC now so I can use AA's to run it. I know it worked though 'cause I "borrowed" the 3.6V battery from the cordless phone and wired it up to the battery terminals. It died within a few minutes because the phone's battery is only 700maH. Although I'm not sure it's entirely OK, I had to guess at the contact polarity and got it wrong the first time. This normally isn't a problem, but the contacts started to smoke...

No yard sales yet (it's been either raining or snowing ) but I took the 50 cents someone left in the snack machine at my college last week! Yay profits! That might buy a whole gumball!

I have to wait a few more weeks until the weather starts to heat up a bit here in England but I'm sure I'll get some more bargains. However I've noticed in my area theres been a decline in people selling there old consoles for cheap. Seems there being more informed about the value of them and stick 'em on ebay. Or perhaps it's because I've bought most of them I might have to lay off the spending for a bit though, Currently bidding on a Mint Condition Space Invaders Cocktail Arcade Machine. I swear to god if someone out bids me...
Haha, I help out with our locla scout troops car boot sale, so I get there at 7AM. Last year I got a boxed Master System and 12 boxed games for a quid (£1). And I got a PS1 for a fiver, but I had to repair the memory card slot. First one starts on Saturday so I'm quite exited, hunting for more gameboys for my collection.

Can I list the swag I pick up after work?
Like the Specrobes promo carboard display
or the sonic the hedgehog wristband?
or the Spectrobes and PS3 Lanyards?
or the Stylus giveaways with spectrobes and Lost in Blue 2?
Or do I need to list the clearly ungodly amount of money I paid for Mario RPG for SNES? ($35 with the book) (I had to get it there were no more around here, seriously!)

OK, i'll make 2 posts in 2007, I guess. First off, the $5 laptop in my sig is dead, long gone. Though my new computer I got at a yard sale. Dell P4 2.8 ghz with HT, 768mb ram, 128mb GFX card, DVD Burner, etc, etc. Tower only. Got it for $25, just had to recap the mobo and she's good as new! Dont believe it? Search Dell GX270 Capacitor in Google and you'll see this model's plagued with capacitor probs. I just took advantage of it and recapped the board.
Desktop: P4 1.6 GHz, 256 mb Ram, 2x 40 gb hdd, Win XP Home, Geforce 3 64 mb, 24/10/40 CDRW, 4x DVD-Rom, $1362.03 in Mid-2002
Laptop: P3-m 800 Mhz, 320 MB ram, 20 GB HDD, Win XP PRO, 8x DVD, $5 in early 2005
