Anyone have a game that you love that not many people know about? How about a game that wasn't very popular or considered "bad" by the mainstream that you enjoyed? Chat it up!
Favorite obscure games:
Lunar the Silver Star and Lunar Eternal Blue were a pair of great games for the Sega CD that aren't very well-known; if you're an RPG fan at all, you better try these!
Popful Mail, also for the Sega CD, was really neat as well.
Snatcher. 'Nuff said.
The last has become more widely-known nowadays, but when I first tried it, it was still relatively unknown. Seiken Densetsu 3, the best action/RPG game ever (sorry Zelda) is a must-play for any action/RPG game or SNES fan.
Funny how most of those turned out to be Sega CD games....

Really? Mine runs at 40-60FPS pretty much the whole time with transparencies off using SquidgeSNES overclocked at about 240mhz. Then again, I do have the latest GP2x, so maybe that's part of it. Hopefully DrPocketSNES gets the text problem worked out, then it'll be 100% playable on my favorite emulator!Turbo Tax 1.0 wrote: seiken densetsu3 also awesome. started playing on pc a few years ago but keyboard = meh

Oh, and another obscure game for the list is Terranigma. Look it up. It's a fact.

Hmm Its a tought one to figure out, all my Underrated games are Raceing games. the Whole Crusin' Series except for Exotica for the N64. Hydro Thunder.
All time favorite Obscure and Underatted game? hmmmm
Super Mario RPG:Legend of the 7 stars
That game was so Underrated thats why it cost around 50 bucks to buy one used.
Muahahah I got my SMRPG for 5 bucks from Blockbuster when they were moving in all the N64 games and selling the SNES games.
Most games at the End of the SNES life were underated because they still made SNES games when the N64 released. Example (Kirby 3 and Kirby Superstar came out in 1997.
