So the news is plastered with it. A BIG storm is moving through the southish states and moving right up into New England. Anyone get any snow from it yet? School was canceled for me already.

Just like every other big storm, it dumps a foot of snow just a bit north of where I live but gives me a mere 3 inches :P School did get canceled though :)

We had a Two hour delay issued for Tommorow at around 5ish today. When that happens its a scholl closure for sure. We got out today at 11 AM today. We will also have a 1 hour delay on Thursday depending if everything freezes

You lucky people, in the 7 years I've lived in Utah, we've never had a snow day. The only time we had enough that it might have been a snow day was over Christmas Break.
How much snow does it take for you guys to have snow days? I'm guessing it's at least a foot overnight here.

Up here in MA/RI we're supposed to get dumped on tonight.

Unfortunately, they don't cancel work on account of snow. :(

Seriously, I can't understand their math. 1 day closed = 3 days we have to stay longer :?

I got school canceled!

WHAT?!?! This is a joke. We've got 7 inches on the ground here, with another estimated 4 on the way, and our schools contacted us saying that it's not likely that school is cancelled. :? Gah, I give up.

We're slated to get a foot by noon tomorrow. School was cancelled, but when we got the announcement that after school activities were cancelled, I got the robotics team to pack up and move to my house instead. With there being no school tomorrow, they won't let us into the building, so it's good that we got most of the stuff to my house.

I live a bit east of my school (so more snow here than there), but there are people who live east of me, and they get MORE snow.
