These Are ones from http://www.dragonlasers.com

Viper 125mW $329.99
Viper 95mW $239.99
Viper 75mW $169.99
Viper 55mW $139.99
Viper 35mW $119.99

Oops sorry. I'm guessing that he wants one because popping balloons is fun?

I find this hard to believe, unless he got a $1000 dollar lazer that most places require a permit to buy them at such a high power.

Check out United Nuclear.

the laser from a dvd burner can melt plastic, im sure even weaker ones could pop a balloon.

lasers dont get much weaker the farther away you get, unlike normal light.

They may be strong, but the beam is incredibly thin, probably not even visible to the human eye. Also, I think that with lasers you have to focus them just right to do things like pop baloons. I know that with laser engravers you need to focus it before you can start cutting/engraving.

Personally, I think that a better way to spend your money on a baloon popper is a $100 solid gold nail ;)

Don't forget that you can piss somebody off a lot without them knowing who did it.

Wow, I've never seen such powerful laser "pointers" before. I'd look into buying one, but there are few things I could think of doing with one which aren't malicious.
