Just collecting info for my Komodo project...
My favorite system is the Sega Dreamcast, because the load times are short, it has a ton of great games, the controllers are comfortable and the VMUs are awesome.
What are you guys's favorite systems and why?

I say gba. tons of games, both new and old, excellent variety. Lots of rpg, strategy, platformers and racing games. With the final 'micro' upgrade it became a system compact enough to forget about until needed. It's comfortable buttons, brightly backlit screen and unmatched picture sharpness make it a winner. probably the last major system that will focus on 2d gaming.
runner up has got to be the neogeo aes/mvs. while not the most powerful, it is still best system option for what it does. insanely long lifespan, good quality games and rabid fans boost it. low variety and number of games caused by low user base/high initial price held it back. perfection costs money, it wasn't snk's fault that we didn't have it.
