Friggin sweet. Feed it trash and it converts it into energy (fuel or electricity made from the fuel) Now all they have to do is fit it in the back of a delorean :P

I wanted one of those cards really bad, but I'd actually expect to time travel when I hit 88, leaving me disappointed.

Also cause of the winged doors you cant park near anyone.

actually not true, the gullwing doors open more up than out, you only need a bit over a foot of space between your car and others (has to do with the hinge being more towards the center of the roof i think, something like that)

Its hard to tell from pictures, some of em dont look that far out, like you say, but in other pics it looks like the doors are way out there.

No, that other dude is right, the doors only need about 1 foot clearence, much less than a standard door even. That car would be kind of sweet to own but everyone would be "back to the future"ing me all the time.

Also that generator looks interesting but the food processing part would take forever since it needs bacteria to do crap.

If you want a car that looks similar to a Delorean, but don't want to pay the high price, get an older Toyota Celica. I have a 1983 Celica (well, it'll be mine when I have the money to buy it from my parents) and its one of the closest things to a Delorean that I've seen. I would give it gullwing doors, but the sunroof would prevent me from putting the hinges in far enough to open in a small space. The door frame doesn't go over the top of the window, so that would be a problem, too. :(

That looks just like mine, and I dare you to find something that looks more like a Delorean than that (besides another Delorean or a silver Celica).

Neato. Though at the mentioned prices you would be better off buying solar panels and wind turbines.

This is terrible news for the rats. If we learn to turn all our garbage into energy, what will they eat? As resources dwindle the rats and the pigeons will begin warring over the last scraps of garbage. I shudder at the thought of such devestation.

DeLorean is my ultimate dream car. If I were to ever land a bunch of money, I would buy one, and trick it out to look like the one from Back to the Future. Flux Capacitor and everything.

@Kenny: I stand corrected. :( I bet you couldn't find one of those Scirocco's for $600 and needing less than $600 worth of work to get it in good working condition, thats the way it is with my Celica (it was in good enough condition to drive home under its own power when we bought it)..
