What Game system got you addicted to Video Games?

Post by Jongamer » Sun Jan 28, 2007 4:53 pm

We all love video games don't we? If you don't why are you here?
But how did we all Come about loving Video Games?

Personnally I got addicted to Video Games back during the SNES Generation and it took me more than 2 years to move onto the N64, and thats when SNES became Obsolete and I got SMRPG for 5 bucks at Blockbuster, sure beats $30+ dollars you see on ebay and Local Shops today. And I used to think the Genesis was a big pile of Crap, but I've come to love the Genesis today, but still not more than my Beloved SNES.

So what system got you Addicted to video games?

Oh and not To Mention the First Game system I ever played was Accually a NES when I was 3 years old, thats when I grew to love Mario games.

The first system that got me really hooked was SNES. After that I took a break from playing more or less a few years. The next system that got me hooked was GBC and (And I'm almost ashamed for this now) Pokémon blue/red (Which didn't support color mode on GBC) I then moved on to Pokémon gold/silver. And I have bot Mew and Celebis (Unless the RAM batteries have dried out by now d: )
Then I moved on to making music on my GB's.
And the last few weeks I've gotten into gaming a bit again, where I re-visit the FF games (1-7) and CT.

The first system I got was a Genesis though the N64 is what really got me hooked. From Sonic and Streets of Rage to Super Mario 64 and Goldeneye, go figure

GBC, SNES, and N64. All at once.

GBC: Legend Of Zelda Links Awakening (best. game. ever.) Pokemon Red, then gold.
SNES: MMX, SMW
N64: Super Smash BROTHERS!

Atari 2600 even tho it was made 10 or so years before I was born. When I was like 6 or so I played one at a friends house. I can't remember the game tho. First console I ever owned was a N64 and I still own it.

Yeah Streets of Rage. And I happen to tottaly own at all 3 of them. Those are like the best multiplayer games ever. It's probably the dumbest idea of Sega ever (and that's quite something) to cancel Streets of Rage 4.

The gaming device that got me hooked was actually my PC. I used to play Fury 3 on my old Acer Pentium PC.

I had more fun with my neighbor's GBO, though.
