Anyone into Yu-Gi-Oh?

Post by ValiantVenality » Sun Jan 21, 2007 6:33 pm

I can't believe I havent posted this yet. I am a huge fan of the show but I was just to nervous to ask anyone if they were into it. So is anyone? If you are post some decks that you have used or are using down here. If you are not into it post why you think it is a horrible idea of the show and the card game.

That last sentence I was kidding about. If you did that, that would be SPAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Used to be.

1. The Japanese cartoon was 3219804701274X better than the US White Protestant children safe one.

2. Ever since the US cartoon branched out into that gay sequal cartoon...well, you see where I'm going with this...

Yea, benol's right. I used to like Yu-Gi-Oh until I was 11, about 4 years ago. I mean I liked the cartoon, and wanted those goddamn cards so bad, but my parents though they were just worthless pieces of paper. Then I finally got that Exodia garbage (5 pieces) but there was already a new mega ultra card out, and I'm like (Fubar)...so I sell it and waste my money on Ultimate Spider Man Comic Books :P . Yea, anyways, I stopped liking the anime since I missed a lot of it due to studies in my way. I think I saw onto where that orphan Kaiba wierd ass virtual ultimate Exodia dark hyper ninja AIDS old guy virtual duel thing. Yea....then I tune back like a year later for kicks and some pre pubescent guy preaches about morals and friendships while a fat guy with a big nose yelps in fear...right. So I pretty stopped after that. Just for blah rights, my deck was just that dragon guy, Lord of D, with the flute and Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon summon shiznit, with Polymerazation and mirror force with Raigeki. Man, I miss my childhood.

I've played the GBA games, and they're pretty fun. The card games its self is interesting. I might get the DS game, when I see it cheap(card game with stylus is just nice, and wi-fi to boot).

I've seen the show(both the normal and that spin-off) once or twice, but a show about a card game seems to be kind of a weak idea. Since they can just draw whatever the hell they want, since its all written out.

I like Yu-gi-oh(and NO I'm not 11).I didn't like Grand Championship or GX, but other than that I think the show rocks.I also have several decks, the best of which is my Dark Magician deck.Has anyone else read the manga? 8)

Meh the show is lame, but I've always been a TCG nerd. However I traded all of my rare Yugioh cards for a DS when I found out no one played anymore (there used to be a big group of us) and there was nowhere around here that would buy cards. I still have all my Magic: The Gathering cards though.
