Don't forget full speed GBA emulation with perfect sound
due to the hard work and diligance of zodttd and a few others the gp2x has a gba emulator that is in early beta stages and is already almost fullspeed with sound, and zod will be scratch coding a psx emulator that should be very close to fullspeed with moderate frameskip for most games when done, the only reason the psp has better psx and an n64 emulator is because it has a 3d accelerator and the gp2x doesnt. i still dont think the psp has "won" considering that the gp2x is a practically unknown product (less than 20k units worldwide i think compaired to the million plus psp) i would say as far as homebrew support and quality it holds its own! if gamepark holdings had one TENTH the cash to throw around as sony it would be anihilating the psp on almost every front :D
GP2x has sold more than that by christmas last year, lol. But nevermind that, PSP sucks for homebrew, and as you say we will soon have a fullspeed, and much more efficient port of the very same PSP emulator.

I said homebrew, not emulators. Please, get some intelligence. I don't care if I have just insulted a Moderator, his insults should be better placed and targeted.

Also is there a full speed PSP PSX emulator out now? This is not a rhetorical question, I am asking.

Also, in my slagging off of the PSP, I was on about the screen refresh rate sucking for homebrew.

The GP2x does bloody well considering what it has, a poorly picked, for price, SoC of a DVD/Media Player and handful of developers.

my point exactly, the gp2x is amazing for a product from a no name company from korea with a tiny install base in a handfull of countries. considering its main "competition" is against the product of a major corportation its incredible that its as well know as it is and as popular

Anything you can do we can do better, We can do anything better then you.

GP2x people : yes we can

You need to flash to 3.02 OE-A, then upgrade to 3.02 OE-B. Also you need Hot Shots Golf 2 and PSX isos.

You must have no idea how confusing that sounds.

No console is better that the other. They do what they were intended. So you can't judge any console compared to the other. Your judgements affect your opinion and your opinion only. You can never force your opinion on someone else. Opinion is not and will never be a fact. Opinion influences your decisions. Fact justifies them, and only those with true knowledge understand this principal. As a conclusion, overall ability defines facts.

No offense but you must be a retard if you don't understand that. All it means is to upgrade to 3.02 OE-A, then upgrade to OE-B from OE-A. Then you buy or "Find" Hot Shots Golf 2 and use popstation (or one of those new gui versions) to make a psx eboot. Honestly he said it very simple.

And there is always a better console/Handheld. Personaly, DS Lite pwns both the PSP and the GP2X :P But hey, when it comes to emulators (I dont use homebrew, just emulators) PSP > GP2X
