No I bought this one for $175, it wasn't worth it.Turbo Tax 1.0 wrote:is this the same mini that was posted about way back and was found on the street or something like that?vb_master wrote:I might get a Video, my Mini's battery is sucking, and I replaced the battery only a couple months ago!

Wow, you get to pay hundreds more to buy something capable of stuff you could get for ~$150 a year ago! (GP2X)

Although it looks like a slimmed-down Mac mini, the iTV is NOT a DVR. If anything, it's more similar to the El gato EyeHome. DVRs record video, then play it back on request. The iTV simply streams video (or audio, or slideshows) from your computer to your TV.joevennix wrote:It's basically a DVR that looks like a slimmed down version of a Mac Mini
@atari2600a: the GP2X has several flaws that make it impractical for use as a media player, not including the fact that an average person knows neither what it is, nor how to get one. If you believe that the GP2X can replace the iPod line, try using it in place of one. Try convincing your friends to ditch their iPods in favor of it. Try, then complain that the price of an iPod is too high. I happily await your return.

I hate how Apple has such a monopoly on the MP3 player industry... the billions of dollars they must have sickens me.
Cool stuff, yes, but my mobiBLU, while much, much simpler, is cooler and smaller. I'll be truely impressed when Apple adds built-in WiFi so you can download stuff without the needing a computer. (As long as you're in a hotspot.) The PSP and DS have it, why can't the iPods? Come on Apple! What's wrong with you? Can't you do ANYTHING right?! Jeez.
