I disagree with you. There's loads of people who have pit bulls and they do not have them tied up. Now, I'm not saying that pit bulls should be banned, but I think that if you really want one, you should take a small, maybe three hour class and get a permit to have one.
And I also doubt that Jack Thompson has ever played games. All he's doing is trying to get support for his political career by attacking something that he things might get him attention and support.

What I was saying was being halfway drawn from a real-life experience.
I don't have a pitbull, but I do have a dog, and she is a very kind and playful dog, but one day I tied her up outside the bagel shop to buy lunch (something I do all the time with her) and when I was buying my bagel, my dog barked and a girl started crying. It turns out the my dog snapped at a little girl who came up to her. Now who's fault is it: My fault because it was my dog, of the mother's fault for letting her child run up to a dog they know nothing about?
Like I said I do this all the time and my dog has never done that before because people are usually smart enough to ask the owner if it's okay. My dog is a partially trained rescue dog, and by instinct doesn't take too kindly to strangers that run up to her, but if that's not reasonable, you can all go jump in the lake.

This discussion is kind of wandering into dangerous waters rules wise and if we keep going it will only be so long until the sub USS Mod hits it with the "torpedo of lockage-ness".....
