Strange enough, my aunt has a digital camera that uses floppys or memory sticks. This is it.

Takes about 10 or 20 pics, I think, and you can actually make a 10-second video on it.

Actually it is because windows isn't completely done with it's 8 bit DOS core. Not even the newest 64 bit version of Windows XP. The floppy drive is still there for when something goes really wrong and you can't even boot the computer off of a flash drive or a CD (or DVD now for that matter).

After all, Windows is a:
64 bit tweak of a
32 bit extension to a
16 bit user interface for an
8 bit operating system based on a
4 bit architecture from a
2 bit company that can't stand
1 bit of competition.

That he is, that he is.

I used floppies to transfer stuff to my old computers, until I killed all my old computers. :(

Macs haven't had floppies since the late 90's when Steve Jobs returned and saved the company! For a few years after that PC users claimed that it was actually a good reason not to switch... :P

You know what it is?! He's in the UK. I went to Alienware's US website and didn't see any stink floppy drive. I don't know of any manufacturers off hand that have floppies. I don't see any use for them what so ever.

No it ain't, but neither is engorging yourself on cheesecake until you yak and I think even you would agree that is pretty sick. And it is equally as inconsiderate to announce it in public.

Wait, you can't afford a 3 dollar 64MB SD card, but you can afford floppies?
