Futurama! (Sorry Luc this actually has a point ;) )

:D Comedy Central has ordered 13 episodes of Futurama for their 2008 season. No, not the old reruns we've been watching for years...

NEW episodes! Woo hoo!

Comedy Central paid something like $30 million for the 72 old episodes last year, but they can't do anything with them until the Cartoon Network contract expires. It looks like they're following the Family Guy model (record DVD sales leading to a revival of a cancelled show.)

Sounds good. I don't think a better channel could be choosen to have it air on, Fox would screw up the time slot and Cartoon Network would likely have had it changed. I hope they don't change whole thing of having celebraties come on and play their severed heads.

And lets not forget "All my circuits", I love Calculon.

I watch Futurama mainly on Adult Swim. I really don't like Comedy Central. I'll wait for the DVDs.

Those two dudes remind me of Archie (from archie comics) and Fred from Scooby Doo. That might be the point though, not sure cause I've only seen a little bit of one or two episodes.

The way I see it, Adult Swim should've stuck with killing anime shows.

Um... isn't it wooden stakes for vampires, and silver bullets for werewolves? So a silver stake would be for a were-vampire? scary!

But yeah I agree, they should stop running a copule more anime shows. I can't stand them for some reason. Not to mention the comedy shows generally pull in twice the ratings...

Did you see the ratings for TGTTM Season 2? 500,000+ for the episode "Jeffy"!
