Do Any of you guys: Parkour/Freerun/ UrbanFree flow? (Pronounced: Poke Coor/ Poke Coo err) (Coor as in Coors Light)

Its term, provided by a wiki, is: Parkour is a sport of getting from A to B without Interupting the flow.

In Other words...

If theres a wall in your way...Climb it, if theres a gap in your way.. JUmp it.. and If theres a Bench or a Rail in your way... Vault it.

I parkour Everyday.

Heres some Videos.

(They arent Mine)

http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=Parkour

Some of the Videos on that Page are Good, and some are bad.. and You may find one thats Making fun og Parkour... (Grr West Coast Parkour Team)

If any of you are Canadians and Willing to devote some time to Parkour,
Visit www.pkto.ca (They even have a forum if you need help on Nutrician, Body weight, Injuries, and Anytype of other general questions.
(Parkour Toronto)

Thanks.

(I dont think Im spamming or Advertising as its good for people to get some Fresh air and Parkour.)

[PS: Parkour Is a Dangerous sport, you can die and/or get seriously Injured, Always roll after Big jumps, and Try to have a freind with you incase you get Injured. Remember To stretch everyday, and do Warm ups, and Cool downs.. By that I mean exercise before and after Parkour to reduce injuries. Also, know your Limits, as If your new dont try anything Dangerous.]

I tried it, but living on the outskirts of the city theres nothin here but old peoples houses and large running creeks. I did manage to get the pk roll down so that I can dive running and not get even a scratch.
I watched some videos of people doing it though and I was quite amazed. One guy ran across a mall divider rail then flipped over the railing. Insane.

eh, I like doing this kind of stuff (no flips though :P) but I don't like how it's turned into a sport.

I just kind of calling it running around. Like you said, just run from spot A to B, have a lot of obstacles around and walls and stuff....and just run!

it's fun, though :). I love doing wall runs and climbing up huge walls.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

David Belle made parkour :p

Oh and Dont worry, The Flips arent a Part of Parkour, they are just Flashy Moves.

Its more of a Dicipline than a Sport.

I consider myself fit, but I can't even land a front flip on the trampoline. Are there any tips you could give me? I'm not going to flip around my neighborhood, I just want to know some cool stuff I can do on the trampoline, and that pk roll G-force mentioned.

Man, best part of that vid had to have been when he climbed that 20+ ft brick wall, looked like he was spider man or something.

I wish we had some urban stuff like that around here, mostly just peoples backyards --;

Toronto is a city in the province of Ontario...
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
