Just wondering, what's your grade/mark in English, Math, and/or Chemistry/Science/Physics.

Mines this:

Grade 11

English @ Midterm: 91%
Math: 68% (I think)
Chemistry: 78% (Although I know a ton about it. Teacher was a haaaard marker)
Physics: low 70's

Well, I haven't put any effort into school lately, and it shows :P

English: D
Physics: C-
Calculus: B
Sociology: C+
Computers: A

I suppose if I stopped sleeping through English and Physics I could do better, but I'm not a morning person :P
Edit: oh yeah, and this is just for the 1st half of the 2nd semester

What's with the letter gradeS?

College/University? I know some are because they haven't got to highschool yet. But what's gannon's excuse?

Or do you americans like to see your mark out of 12 instead of 100 to make you feel better and not buy your legal guns? :P

(And I thought I was always one of the dumber kids around here...seems we're all dumb  )

It's just that American parents get confused by percentages easily so the schools give them a letter :P

I had been slacking off with English class a bit, and it was showing. B- But I managed to slam out a bunch of stuff today and hand it in before we left (grades closed today), and she said I could do extra credit stuff to hand in until Monday. So I guess I'm going to grind reading from the back of the book. (We're never going to get that far; we only got the books in January!) After this semester I don't have to worry too much since I'm already going to college, and we get outon May 19.

I don't think I was doing too bad, but the work for "The Fountainhead" was worth about 1/2 of the grade for this semester. It's not the easiest book in the world. I think I only got a C- on it, but I was the only one who passed (Thank you CliffsNotes!!!!). Since everyone was having trouble the teacher went over some stuff which helped a bit, but one kid actually asked to leave the room because he didn't want to "spoil the book for him". He as having the most trouble out of everyone! That deserves a big...

Hmm, first trimester was pretty good:

Math 80%
Science 82%
LA 75%
Social 70%
Construction 85%

Second wasn't as good:

Math 70%
Science 66%
LA 72%
Social 69%
Band (Percussion) 80%

I'm hoping for a 90% average this term. At least I'm working for it :P
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

It sounds like his school has 3 parts, instead if 2 like US schools do.

Grade 12 here

AIT 11: 104% (I did a lot of bonuses :P )
Global Geography: 94%
Geology: 85-ish%

This is a dirt easy year for me so I don't really do much, AIT 11 is so farking easy I spend half the class surfing the net and still get a 104% lol
