There was no mention of dice.
well maybe it's a trick question to see if you cheated if you give the stock answer which you couldn't have gotten any other way then the auto fail you or something.
and harshboy, please don't screw you self by cheating.

um, yeah, this one's pretty self explanatory. as someone said before, multiplying gets a 3/4 chance of being even, so that's greater than adding or subtracting, which would get a 1/2 chance.

Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

So going with the original question: X=odds Y=evens (each will be given a random value for proof)
PLAN A:
X+Y=odd (proven: 3+4=7, 5+6=11)
X+X=even (proven: 3+3=6, 5+7=12)
Y+Y=even (proven: 4+6=10, 6+8=14) SO 2/3 CHANCE FOR PIZZA
PLAN B:
X*X=odd (3*3=9, 5*5=25)
Y*Y=even (4*4=16, 6*6=36)
X*Y=even (3*4=12, 5*4=20) SO 2/3 CHANCE FOR PIZZA
So following the original guidelines: They're both the same.

WRONG Nicholai!
Plan A)
1+1= yay
1+2= nope
Etc… so ½ chance
2+1= nope
2+2=yay
Etc… so ½ chance (again) and 1 Is the same as 3, 4 is the same as 2, etc…
Mean of ½ and ½ is… ½ chance total wow! NOT 2/3 or whatever
Plan B)
1*1=nope
1*2=yay
Etc… so ½ chance.
BUT…
2*ANYTHING=yay!!!
Again, 1 is the same as 3, 2 is the same as 4, etc…
SO… the mean of ½ and 1(00%) is .75 of 75% or ¾
As you can tell, plan B is better. And trust me! I’m advanced in math
So therefore you are wrong!
P.S even the answer book agrees with me!!

No. No no no no no. You don't say 1+2 AND 2+1, because in the original problem there isn't an object determining whether it's odd or even. So 1+2 only has to be said once.geekbait111 wrote:WRONG Nicholai!

It doesn’t matter look (well only a fraction of a bit)!!!!
Plan A x=yay y=nope
1 2 3 4 5 6
1 x y x y x y
2 x y x y x
3 x y x y
4 x y x
5 x y
6 x
12/20 a.k.a 3/5 or 60%
Plan B x=yay y=nope
1 2 3 4 5 6
1 y x y x y x
2 x x x x x
3 y x y x
4 x x x
5 y x
6 x
15/20 or ¾ or 75%
Even if you don’t do the full chart (which I was practically saying) B=75% and A=60% NOT 66.66666% and 66.666666%

I'm going by the original problem not the one with the dice.geekbait111 wrote:It doesn’t matter look (well only a fraction of a bit)!!!!
