Ipod driver

Post by Mr. Cool » Thu Mar 09, 2006 4:33 pm

I got an 5gb 1 gen ipod from a friend that was broken, which is now fixed and I want to charge it through my computer, as well as put my music on it but the computer won't recognize it. My friend said that the computer does it automatically but it doesnt work. I searched bgoogle for "ipod driver" but got nothing, and there was nothing on apple.com. Does itunes recognize an ipod automatically or is there a driver that I could download so that it recognizes it?

If you dont have iTunes get it, but if not you probably have out-of-date USB ports.

You could run it on a Mac emulator to download songs, but you need Mac OS X software to do that, so buy it or download (torrent) it, but i'm not going to list the websites you can do that because that would be illegal.

Then set up the emulator to go to your USB Ports and your done.

(I actually don't know of any emulators that will emulate USB ports, maybe PearPC, i've never used it..."
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...
