None of the links work anyways.

If it's free roms you want, download the homebrews and tech demos at www.pdroms.de.

If you want DOS games, check out www.the-underdogs.org and www.dosgames.com

Gridwars pretty addictive, and its a free game. It's basically Robotron, with trippy Rez graphics.

Rumble Box
A great game. It's based entirely on fun gameplay, and simple yet cool cel-shaded blocky graphics. You must destroy your enemys to build up the floor to get out of the box. YEAH!

Truck Dismount & Stair Dismount (two different games, saem site)
Very fun physics games. The objective is to bash your stick person into the wall and the more damage you deal, the more points you win. Great game for playing with your competitive friends. me and my bro played it for months beating each others scores over and over.

EDIT: Remebered more.

Bejeweled
Very addictive puzzle game. Give it a shot. (and yes, the download link is on the page, near the top)

Bookworm
Just as addictive as bejeweled, only with words. It's pretty fun when you find words you never knew existed.

Found a link to a list of a BUNCH of good ones on joystiq. They even have the link to that 2D Halo game I've been looking for.

It's where you are a little guy and you blow up color circles to turn the background white/black. Try it out.
