I have been staying up late for the fast couple of weeks. Studying, programming ect. To fuel myself I use jolt gum and Bawls. The problem is now I need it to function. I get all jittery and pissed off until I get it. Does anyone know how to get off of this addiction. Like replacing it with gum chewing or something?

Ah, thats definatly not healthy, I would suggest doing something physical(like a sport or soemthing). Then when you get all tired out, just go to sleep. :P

I don't know, I have insomnia so I normally don't need to use crap like that to stay up late and work on something :)

I do sports. I have OCD. I run like 10 miles a day at least.

Have you tried meditation? Calms me down i dont do it often, but considering the stress and Shavin Creme (:P) I go threw i should do it more often.

hmm... I was once addicted to apple juice :? Which, of course, is healthy, I know, I have strange addictions to foods and other things if doing it a lot, since I drink lucozade every day (and feel rather ill) and ran out and needed something to replace it with, and apple juice was chosen, wow.

I don't need anything to keep me awake at night, just something to make me sleep

If it is infact Caffine I'd say there are only two ways; cold turkey but when I did this I got some real bad migrans; or just step it down like if your at 5 (what ever cans bottles) every few days take one or two off a day. I myself used to drink like a 2 liter of Mountian Dew and now I only drink pop in general every few days or even weeks.
