The DS was NOT a Game Boy. It was a handheld but was explicitly not a part of the GB line...
DS plays GBA games - how is it not a GameBoy?

Because Nintendo said in a public statement it was not. Please don't troll.
Check the DS's product line.

the gba sp, becuase it's the only one that I could see without lots and lots of squinting! seconded only by the original chucky gameboy.

The new screened SP is what I would prefer to play my games on (despite it's hand cramping shape) what with 100% compatibility and the nice folding of the screen to prevent scratches. Too bad the controls suck or it would be perfect.

But my favorite is still the original GameBoy. It was the absolute best thing back in the day, and even though I could never play any games on that outdated blurry moldygreen LCD anymore, it's still the man (or, boy, in this case).

Heh, I rember when I first played Tetris on it... Man that thing had solid games. Unlike the DS and PSP which insist on shoveling crappy ports/remakes into game stores just to make a buck.

GO GBO!

Maybe it should be best case or bets library, because the SP+ is a pretty clear winner. Compatibility with GB, GBC and GBA games, large and bright screen, compact. You can't go wrong.
