Will this screen work?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-3-5-DVD-VCR ... 728wt_1168" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this post in (I'm pretty sure it is though lol). I know the sticky said most rearview car screen things would work, but I am just checking.

Anyways, do you guys think that screen would work for a PS2 Portable (It has AV In).

Plus it's only about $20!

Hi StealthShock,
I'm pretty sure the screen will work, although there are two things to look at:
- Which video inputs does the screen support (such as composite video will be needed)
- What is the screen quality (which resolution etc)

Good luck!

It'll work, but it's a bit small, seeing the lack of trimming knowledge for PS2's. Try eBaying "4.3" TFT."

Will do.

Right now I have a gamecube and a ps2 and I'm trying to decide if I want to portable/mod one of them and which one.

Hi Stealthshock,
I had to make the same decision because I also have a GameCube and a PS2, but finally I have chosen for the Cube, because the PS2 games are also available for the computer... The GameCube has more games of its own, so I would choose the gamecube.

Additionally, there is FAR more documentation on Gamecube portables and people have discovered lots of stuff.
