Good 7" Widescreen?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Good 7" Widescreen?

Post by hackmodford » Wed Jun 16, 2010 11:00 am

Does anyone know of a good cheap 7" widescreen? I had this link to a picture frame screen I thought I might be able to use... but now I can't tell if it has a A/V input.

http://www.lightinthebox.com/7-inch-Dig ... 15296.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Edit: Here's the cheapest one I could find... http://www.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?Dep ... 88616988-2

Should I get it?

That JCPenny one looks good. I'm pretty sure that I've seen that one with different branding in store, and it looked on par to the portable DVD Players next to it. As long as you don't have much need for the tuner(which doesn't work well from the reviews), it should serve you fine.
