Inter Act screen Questions

So I am well aware many dont like this screen, but due to it being available to me I figured I would use it for my first portable. So what I wanted to ask are:

* Would LED modding this be plausable?
* How bad is the overheating issue?
* Does anyone have a schematic for this thing?

I have one. It gets REALLY REALLY hot in like 45mins-1 hour 15 mins of gameplay. Hook up a fan.
