alright guys, what do i need and what do i not(pics inside)

alright, so i had this portable dvd player made from coby. and i took it apart and i was able to identify some things i might need for my first portable (thanks to bens book extremely helpful) here are some pics of some things im saving


the dvd player



the li-ion batteries, 3.7 v/2300 mAh each

some tact swicthes

3 more tact switches, need 1 more

and some jacks/phono/output things

tell me some of the things that i need,do not need, can use, etc.
i would like more info about the lcd screen causee im not really familiar with it and such thanks in advance!

the screen is useless, as you cant input composite video. the batteries are just fine, although they might be a bit low capacity for something like a psone. i recommend getting tact switches that are all the same, as it makes mounting much easier, though those will work, if you insist on using them.
the jacks and other switches are all useful too. i recommend keeping all of the stuff like that you come across.

ahh alright thanks, as for batteries, cant i connect them in a way to make it as if it were one battery making the total voltage 7.4v? or is it still low capacity for a psone.

Are you sure? I see headphones, composite out, but what is the third 3.5mm jack. Looks like composite in to me ?

i put the motherboard next to the case and the switch(2nd to last) says av in out as for the yellow its video. also, can you guys help me find a common tact switch on http://mouser.com. i dont really know what im supposed to look for

edit: are those batteries combined not enough to power a playstation portable with white LED mods? and the lcd screen is a light box bulb type, im really unfamiliar with all the stuff thats going on with it like the ribbon cable attached and the other thing attached to it, anyone know what they are?

yes, they will, but i reccomend getting the squishy kind instead. they are much nicer, also harder to find, though. i will find a link later

The squishy ones are painfully obviouslly different looking from the regular ones.
