Intec/HipGear screen/mobo dimensions?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Intec/HipGear screen/mobo dimensions?

I'm wanting to know how big the internals are for the screenpads. Height, width, and depth. Both the screen by itself and together with the mobo.

I can't remeber for sure, but I am pretty sure that it is about 3 by 4 inches, but it may be smaller. It has been awhile since I have hed mine out.

The LCD is 2 1/4" by 2" by 3/16". The board, with a little trimming, is 2 1/2" by 2 1/8" by 1/2". You can get the board a bit thinner if you replace the backlight with LED's and remove a few of the components needed for the original backlight.

I think there may be a few different versions of the screen, though. I seem to remember seeing pictures of ones where the board was larger. I'm almost certain all the PS2 Intec screen pads are the size I mentioned, though, as both of mine are the same, and the Xbox Hip Gear screen pad I have is also the same size.

I'll keep that in mind.
