voltage

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

The psone lcd has a few components before the 7805s, so it seems to get distorted with anything above 9V.

here's a good idea for batteries: use 7.2v rc car battery(s) for screen and n64. or do what i might do and use 2 6v lantern batteries (12v). use a 7808 or something to turn 12v into 8v for the screen and n64. i only suggest my method if you want really long bat life.
