16inch Vga Monitor Problem

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

16inch Vga Monitor Problem

Post by Animedude101 » Sun Jul 05, 2009 4:22 am

Hey, i was in the middle of taking this nice 16inch vga monitor apart and before i took off
the metal backplate for where the power and video circuitry was it worked fine.
But when i took the backplate off and connected everything back it wouldn't turn on :(
When its plugged in i can hear power going through the power board......
Any ideas on what may have happened will be apreciated :)

Check for everything here:
Is there a short?
Is the power button broken?
Is a wire cut?
Is everything connected in the right spot?
