5``TFT-LCD Screen Compatibility question

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

5``TFT-LCD Screen Compatibility question

Post by kingpin901 » Sun May 24, 2009 8:15 pm

Can a car GPS 5``TFT-LCD Screen with video support be used as a screen?
It has the port for an AV cable and the av cable is included.
Thanks in advance

Absolutely. Take it apart and look at the video input jack. Usually it will be connected to the circuit board in two or three places. One is the video input line, and the other one or two is ground. Just wire to the video input spot.

I always wonder why these sorts of questions are asked when the answer is right in their post.
