PSOne audio input

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

PSOne audio input

Post by MegatronUK » Sun May 03, 2009 7:32 am

I've got everything bar the audio side of my PSOne screen working - LED mod, on screen graphics (+5v to pin 12) and RGB display. However, no matter whether I connect the left and right audio inputs to pin 2 & 3 of the mini av connector or directly on the back of the pcb at Ext_L and Ext_R solder points I get no sound. Is there something I'm missing here?

Try shorting HP_R, HP_S, and HP_L. They are three small solder pads on the back of the board near the bottom.

your all awesome, audio and screen now working, thanks a lot, only problem now is that road rash seems to hang after playing for a while?
