Screens You CAN and CANNOT Use

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

You asked if it would be considered UNUSABLE.
And I said "Yes", as in "Yes, it is Unusable".

That's way too much to pay for a screen. You should be able to get a sony ps1 screen for $60 max.

I'm building a gamecube portable and wondering if i can get some help.I'm using a 7 inch pelican portable ps2 screen and need help on hooking up the video audio cable to the screen.I'm keeping the plug in on the board, using the plug from the a/v cord to connect to board and somehow wiring the y,w,r to screen.the wires on the ps2 a/v cable to the screen are 2 sets.one goes to the video board of the screen and have 3 wires yellow, brown and black;the other goes to the sound board and are white red and black;is it possible to make an easy connection? the wires on the gamecube plug is yellow, red, white and 2 blacks
